Hey le jeune, toi qui penses que le R dans SGBDR fait allusion aux petites lignes qui relient les tables, tu te trompes! Quand on parle de relation on parle en fait de la table.

Eh oui! Une relation est constitué d’un ensemble de tuples et d’attributs. Les tuples sont les row de ta table et les attributs sont les colonnes.

Je devais faire un retour sur le forum PHP alors le voici. C’était génial. Certains points sont à revoir comme le fait qu’il n’y ait pas d’archives vidéo des conférences qu’on à manqué, car il y à eu quelques conférences intéressantes qui étaient en même temps.

Mais en définitive, je vais aller à celle de l’année prochaine et devenir membre de l’AFUP comme cadeau de Noël!

En ce moment, trois posts intéressants vont arriver. Un sur le remplacement d’une base de données relationnelle par couchdb pour stocker les messages dans wordpress. Je pense que ça peut permettre de faire une introduction appliquée sur ce type de data store. L’autre sur la compilation de noyaux à la sauce Debian pour Xen. Le dernier va utiliser ce thème pour expliquer comment autobuilder avec Hudson ses propres noyaux.

Bon au boulot, ces posts vont pas s’écrire tout seuls, ce qui est d’une tristesse.

Sleep deprived because in some weird way PHP and MySQL would not work is I think the best way to prepare yourself for a PHP conference.

Today is the first day of the “Forum PHP”[1], it’s the only French event related to PHP of this size. The first conference I attend in a while and it feels pretty good. Not only because I’m attending with a friend or because I’m looking forward to see the session of another one, but because there’s going to be some pretty interesting talks by people I read and to see them “live” and to be able to interact (drink beers) with them IRL is quite priceless.

I think I might do a summary of each day, but then again it might not happen because I think I’ll be pretty tired when I get home.

Another cool thing is that afterward I’m attending another one about adapting GCC with MELT.

So yeah it’s a pretty good day that’s coming up!

[1] I haven’t yet figured if this blog would be in French, English or whatever.
